Ian Walsh is a seasoned professional with over 7 years of experience in the games industry working with Wildlife Studios, MoGi and his own start up Dark Oasis Studios. He has worked in various roles, including Player Support, Community Manager, Game Designer, and Product Management.

Ian is a graduate from UCD (University College Dublin) Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, obtaining a Master in iBusiness through Information Communication Technology (now eBusiness Solutions). Ian is also a graduate from UCD obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Management Information Systems, as well as Fetac Level 5/6 certificates from Dorset College and Pulse College for Game Design & Animation Development and Game Development respectfully. 

Recently, Ian completed a Video Game Writing Course with Elvtr under the guidance of Lorne Nudel.

In his free time, Ian is passionate about hosting and organizing official Pokemon tournaments, a hobby he has been pursuing for the past 12 years.
